Her transformation was guided by her personal trainer, Vinod Channa, whose expertise played a key role.

Channa, who also helped Anant Ambani lose over 100 kilos, emphasizes that proper diet and focused abdominal exercises are essential for effective weight loss. On his website, he explains that every person’s nutrition plan needs to be tailored to their unique needs, taking into account factors like body type, metabolism, lifestyle, food preferences, and eating habits.

In this blog, Channa outlined three key principles designed to accelerate the process of burning belly fat:

Eating at regular intervals

Vinod Channa highlighted the importance of eating meals at consistent intervals, explaining that regular eating helps maintain a steady metabolism and reduces stress on the digestive system. He noted, “It’s much better to eat adequate portions at regular intervals than to skip meals or overeat after long gaps. From my experience and research, eating every two hours works best for a balanced diet.”

He also advised against completely cutting out indulgent foods. Instead, he suggested finding healthier alternatives or modifying recipes to make them more nutritious. Channa emphasized that understanding the role of essential nutrients in a balanced diet is crucial for effective and sustainable fat loss.

Smart workouts

For optimal results, Channa advised planning abdominal exercises thoughtfully. Instead of impulsively prioritizing abs workouts, individuals should first focus on engaging larger muscle groups, such as the legs, back, and chest. “Targeting large muscles helps burn a significant amount of calories, making it easier to achieve definition in the abdominal area afterward,” he recommended.

Core strengthening

Vinod Channa explained the key muscle groups that need to be targeted to strengthen the core and reduce belly fat. These include the rectus abdominis, internal obliques, external obliques, and transverse abdominis. He recommended specific exercises for each group:

  • Crunches for the rectus abdominis
  • Cross crunches and leg raises for the obliques
  • Planks and side planks for the transverse abdominis

Channa emphasized that adding these exercises to a well-rounded workout routine creates a balanced and effective approach to core strengthening.
