Here’s a look at what the sharks in Shark Tank India drive.
With the growing startup ecosystem, Shark Tank has gained huge popularity in India. In its fourth season now, many aspirational entrepreneurs have received valuable funding from investors who are fondly referred to as sharks. There are as many as ten sharks this season and all them have a lifestyle worth noticing.
The first part of a two-part series, we take a look at the car collection of five sharks this season.
Anupam Mittal
Founder and CEO of Shaadi.com, Anupam Mittal is known to have a lavish lifestyle consisting of some fast cars. The most notable of those is a Lamborghini Huracan valued at a staggering Rs 3.6 crores. Powered by a robust V10 engine churning out an impressive 572 horses, the Huracan can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in a rapid 3.2 seconds. Mittal also boasts of a wide range of luxury vehicles from BMW, Audi and Mercedes-Benz.

Co-founder and CMO of boAt Lifestyle, an electronics company— Aman Gupta — is a BMW fan boy. He owns the entry-level X1 priced over Rs 50 lakh as well as the flagship sedan 7 Series worth over Rs 1.70 crore.

Founder of Lenskart, Peyush Bansal, is one of the most loved sharks on the show. Like Aman Gupta, Bansal is also a proud owner of a BMW 7 Series.

Namita Thapar
Founder and CEO of Incredible Ventures Limited and Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited, Namita Thapar has become a popular face in the media thanks to Shark Tank. She owns quite a few luxury rides including the BMW X7 xDrive40d M Sport, Mercedes-Benz GLE, and Audi Q7. The X7 is worth Rs 1.30-1.34 crore, the GLE at Rs 99 lakh – 1.7 crore and the Q7 at Rs 88.70 – 97.85 lakh (all ex-showroom).

Co-founder and CEO of Sugar Cosmetics, Vineeta Singh owns a long list of luxury cars. These include Mercedes-Benz GLS (valued at Rs 1.29 crore), E Class (Rs 88 lakh), Volvo XC90 (Rs 98.50 lakh), and Mercedes Benz GL-Class (Rs 77.68 lakh). She also owns a Skoda Octavia which was priced at Rs 30.45 lakh (ex-showroom) before it got discontinued.
