Every year, there seems to be a new foundation that very quickly dominates social media feeds. Last year, it was all about Laura Mercier’s Real Flawless Foundation – and this year? Well, Dior’s Forever Skin Perfect has been the only one we’ve seen for weeks.
The new multi-use foundation stick aims to give you a natural, blurred finish, that lasts for up to 24 hours – not to mention it’s super hydrating on the skin too.
As someone that’s a self-proclaimed beauty expert (having written about the topic for 11 years), what I loved most is how you can build the coverage, to even out your complexion and hide any imperfections, all in one go.
Dior Forever Skin Perfect
Introducing Dior’s first multi-use foundation stick, offering 24-hour wear and hydration. Its lightweight texture provides a concealing blur effect, smoothing skin for natural-looking coverage.

It’s like skincare magic, if I’m honest. The Dior Forever Skin Perfect lets your skin breathe while keeping it hydrated all day long. Its soft, lightweight texture melts right into your skin, blending effortlessly for a barely-there feel and comfort of up to 24 hours as well.
Packed with pigments, it reduces the appearance of pores and covers up imperfections, giving you that perfect ‘blurring filter’ effect – and what we love to see. Plus, it’s heat- and humidity-resistant, so it stays put no matter what.

What I really love is how you can use the Forever Skin Perfect foundation stick as a foundation, all over your face, or just as a concealer – for targeted application on redness, undereye bags, spots and more. It’s also small enough to keep in your bag for touch-ups on the go.
And it seems like I’m not the only one to approve of Dior’s famous foundation. Jo6100 said: ‘Bought after seeing it recommended online and have used every day since. It’s buildable but I prefer a light coverage, and it gives a lovely finish’.
‘Wow brilliant product, buttery soft to apply and easy to blend’ added LindaCob, with Mimsee agreeing with me and also saying: ‘Glides on like a dream great coverage too..has a lovely silky soft finish.’

The only downside? It really clings to dry patches or anything slightly dehydrated – so make sure you let your skincare sink in before using and apply a primer to help those extra dry areas.
As for staying power? My skin looked unreal all day long – and has since become a staple or quick and easy application in the morning, or when I want to look more alive.
Even though the shade range is good, I’m still slightly between shades – so I’m hoping there will be more in the future, especially for undertones.
The verdict? Compared to some foundation sticks I’ve used over the years, this is by far my favourite – as soon as it touches my palm (for an even application with a brush), it melts almost instantly, and leaves my skin looking glowy, but not overly shiny or greasy.
Is this the foundation of 2025? Potentially. It would have to take something rather special to take 1st place for me right now.
