Indian auto component show highlights automotive innovation and sustainability, ET Auto
Over 50,000 visitors and international delegations are expected to attend, witnessing more than 60 product launches. The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, including The Components Show, launched at Yashobhoomi (India International Convention & Expo Centre) in Dwarka, New Delhi. This event showcases India’s growing automotive industry, focusing on future technologies like electrification, autonomous driving, and sustainability. Government officials and industry leaders inaugurated the expo, which runs from January 18th to 21st, 2025. The expo aims to highlight India’s manufacturing capabilities and its move towards a sustainable and innovative automotive future.What does it imply?
The Components Show, a major part of the expo, emphasizes India’s strength in automotive component manufacturing. It covers 70,000 square meters with over 1,000 exhibitors from seven countries. The show features five country pavilions and dedicated zones for electric vehicles, bearings, and accessories.
Over 50,000 visitors and international delegations are expected to attend, witnessing more than 60 product launches. Interactive forums and engagement initiatives will also be held. The event aims to position India as a hub for innovative automotive technologies.
During the inauguration, Union Minister Piyush Goyal unveiled the Show Directory, ACMA Buyers Guide, and an ACMA report on transitioning to electric vehicles. He highlighted the auto component sector’s confidence. “The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 reflects the confidence and resilience of India’s auto component industry, a sector that has become the heart of our mobility ecosystem and a net exporter—a remarkable achievement.”
“As we transition to ‘Design and Innovate in India for the world,’ we must leverage innovation and technology to build an indigenous EV ecosystem, reduce import dependence, and seize global opportunities. With ambitious targets like USD 100 billion in exports over the next decade, this industry will play a pivotal role in shaping Viksit Bharat 2047 and establishing India as a global leader in sustainable mobility,” he added.
Union Minister of State Jitin Prasada said “The auto component industry is experiencing remarkable growth, with the shift to electric vehicles representing a transformative milestone. Technologies such as AI are enhancing quality, precision, and experimentation. To maintain this momentum, the sector must evolve from traditional supply chains to more advanced electro-mechanical models. ACMA is well-positioned to spearhead this change, demonstrating its dedication to progress and inclusivity.”

India, a global manufacturing hub
The expo aims to showcase India as a global manufacturing hub for automotive components, electric vehicles, connected technologies, and sustainable mobility solutions. It provides a platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange among various stakeholders, including OEMs, suppliers, start-ups, policymakers, and academics. The event emphasizes the importance of sustainability, new technologies, and collaboration.
The visual motifs represent different aspects of the industry. The blue gear motif signifies the component sector’s drive for innovation. The green leaf represents sustainability and green mobility. The orange flower symbolizes the growth of start-ups and economic progress. These elements highlight India’s focus on sustainable mobility solutions.
The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 comprises over nine concurrent shows across three locations: Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, Yashobhoomi in Dwarka, Delhi, and India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida. Each show focuses on a different aspect of the mobility ecosystem, ensuring comprehensive industry coverage.
