Bharat Mobility Expo 2025: Porsche has strengthened its electric lineup with the launch of the new Taycan, alongside the debut of the Macan EV.

Bharat Mobility Expo 2025: Porsche has introduced the updated Taycan, a four-door electric sports car, at Auto Expo 2025. Prices range from Rs 1.89 crore to Rs 2.52 crore (ex-showroom). The new model retains its familiar design while focusing on mechanical upgrades. The facelifted Taycan, unveiled globally last year, includes minor styling updates, such as revised front and rear fascias and updated headlights. Key improvements lie in its powertrain, featuring upgraded electric motors and battery packs for better efficiency, longer range, and improved performance. This update bolsters Porsche’s electric lineup, alongside the launch of the new Macan EV.

Porsche Taycan facelift: Design

The Porsche Taycan facelift includes updates to the front and rear profiles while keeping most of the original design. The front features HD-Matrix LED headlamps with detailed optics and a redesigned bumper with revised air vents. The rear has a reworked bumper and updated taillights. The facelift also introduces aero alloy wheels designed for low rolling resistance, improving efficiency.

Porsche Taycan facelift: Interior

The Porsche Taycan facelift features an updated cabin with a new fully digital instrument cluster, a larger touchscreen infotainment system with software updates, and an added screen for the front passenger. The updated model also offers leather-free seat upholstery options, providing more choices for environmentally conscious buyers.

The Porsche Taycan facelift offers improved performance across all variants, with lighter electric motors and upgraded mechanicals. It also comes with a new battery pack featuring revised cell chemistry.

The updated Taycan delivers a maximum range of up to 678km on a single charge. The Taycan 4S produces 510bhp of peak power, while the Turbo variant reaches a maximum output of 697bhp.
