GFRIEND’s emotional performance during their 10th anniversary concert has reignited fury toward the group’s former label.
In a forum titled “The GFRIEND Members Crying While Dancing At Their Concert Today,” GFRIEND’s fans — affectionately called Buddies — couldn’t help but share their thoughts and empathize with the girls in their heartfelt Season of Memories concert.
The thread highlighted several clips from social media platform X (formerly Twitter), which showed members Yerin, SinB, and Eunha bursting into tears on stage.
During their performance of the song “Season of Memories,” Yerin shed tears, presumably from the joy of performing together again with the group.
“Jung Yerin cried in such a sad way,” a Buddy wrote on X.
Another video showed the group’s main dancer, SinB, wiping off her eyes after singing a line. She was seen doing her best to keep up with the choreography.
A third tweet showed Eunha hugging Sowon during the show’s final segment.
“Eunha was holding back her tears during the ending,” the fan also captioned.
“When they sang ‘Always,’ she hugged Sowon and burst out crying.”
In the post’s comments section, Buddies were moved by the group’s heartwarming moments. However, these precious bits from their show led some fans to vent their frustration against HYBE Labels and SOURCE MUSIC for the group’s “disbandment.”
“I also cried so much in the corner of my room,” one fan shared. “Why did they do this to such pretty kids?”
Another opined, “Every single member should be allowed a few kicks and punches at HYBE’s higher-ups.”
One fan chimed in, “Yerin really did break my heart, seeing her cry like that.”

GFriend is not a Hybe group and it’s a fact, didn’t they the one who let GFriend go out of the blue?! And now what, why y’all want us Buddy to call GFriend is a Hybe group? HELL NO.

Your co-fandom and the hybe stans literally are the ones who dragged gfriend to justify the termination. Yes lsf didnt mistreated gf, but soumu and hybe. We just find it funny when your co-fandom said before that they’re never coming back but they’re here back for the proj hahaha
