Double Olympic medallistNeeraj Chopra just broke the internet by sharing glimpses from his beautiful wedding ceremony. Neeraj Chopra got married to Himani Mor in an intimate affair at an undisclosed location. He posted pictures of himself and his wife with their hands and eyes closed.

Chopra also shared a picture with his mother. The post read, “जीवन के नए अध्याय की शुरुआत अपने परिवार के साथ की। (Started a new chapter of my life with my family) Grateful for every blessing that brought us to this moment together. Bound by love, happily ever after. नीरज हिमानी”

Who is Himani Mor, Neeraj Chopra’s wife?

Originally from Larsauli, Haryana, Himani Mor, a professional tennis player, belongs to a reputed sports family based in Sonipat, Haryana. She has represented India at World University Games and currently stays and teaches in Massachusetts, USA.

Himani’s best All India Tennis Association (AITA) rankings include 42 in singles and 27 in doubles. She achieved this in 2018, months after she debuted in national tournaments.

Notably, the 25-year-old spent 14 weeks in the Top 30 for AITA Women’s Doubles rankings, making herself as one of the finest tennis players from Haryana.

Himani attended Little Angels School in Sonipat, demonstrating exceptional academic, intellectual and athletic skills. She has a bachelor’s degree in political science and physical education from Delhi’s Miranda House.

Himani is currently pursuing her Master’s in Science in sports management and administration from McCormack Isenberg School of Management. As a tennis player, she has worked as a part-time assistant coach at Franklin Pierce University.

She is also listed as an assistant coach for women’s tennis at Amherst College in Massachusetts, a position that students normally take to balance work and studies.
