Girls hockey results for Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025 – Post Bulletin
EAGAN — Dodge County put together yet another complete performance here Tuesday night, the No. 2-ranked Wildcats powering past Eagan 6-0 in a non-conference girls hockey game.
Wildcats goalie Ida Huber stopped all 18 shots she faced to record her eighth shutout of the season, and senior forward Nora Carstensen had a four-point game (two goals, two assists), giving her 10 points in the past five games.
Huber also recorded her first assist of the season, making a nice stretch pass to set up Maysie Koch’s goal with five minutes to go in the second period that extended Dodge County’s lead to 5-0.
The Wildcats improve to 15-3-1 overall and have won eight of their past 10 games.
Koch added a goal and three assists in the win, while Maren Hodgman and Alexa Van Straaten had a goal and an assist each. Hannah Peterson also scored once in the victory.
Huber’s shutout is her eighth of the season and 30th of her high school career. She leads the state in the two biggest goaltender stats — goals-against average (0.73) and save percentage (.964). She is also tied for seventh in the state in wins (15).
Dodge County continues a busy week when it hosts Hastings at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Dodge County Ice Arena, then hosts Eastview at 12:15 p.m. Saturday.

ROCHESTER — Rochester Century/John Marshall turned in one of its best defensive performances of the season, and won for the seventh time in its past nine games, beating visiting South Central (Waseca) in a non-conference girls hockey game on Tuesday at the Rochester Recreation Center.
The Panthers (12-9-2 overall) limited South Central to eight shots on goal, and improved to 6-1-1 in their past eight games with the victory. Isabella Scranton made seven saves in the win.
Megan Gamble had a goal and an assist for the Panthers, who led 1-0 after one period and 3-1 after two.
Quinn Stewart and Kennedy Stewart also scored once each for Century/JM, which has two regular-season games remaining: Jan. 30 at Austin (7 p.m.) and Feb. 1 vs. Albert Lea (6 p.m.).
