BTS’ Jin donates ₩100 mil. to Korea University Medicine to help patients in developing countries < Hospital < Article
Jin, a member of the globally renowned K-pop group BTS, has donated 100 million won ($69,594) to Korea University Medicine to support patients suffering from incurable diseases in developing countries.

As a global star, Jin has consistently used his influence to fulfill social responsibilities through continuous philanthropic activities. He has previously made donations in various fields, including child welfare and environmental protection.
His generous contribution will be used for the “Global Love Life Project,” an international medical aid initiative led by Korea University Medicine.
The Global Love Life Project focuses on providing medical treatment and support to patients in underprivileged regions facing economic difficulties and a lack of healthcare services.
Last year alone, Korea University Medicine brought over 10 patients from overseas such Madagascar to Korea and successfully treated them at its Anam, Guro, and Ansan hospitals, showcasing its commitment to international humanitarian efforts.
“I hope this donation can bring even a small ray of hope to those suffering without access to medical treatment,” Jin said. “I wish to continue helping save more lives alongside my global fans.”
A representative from Korea University Medicine, previously known as Korea University Medical Center, conveyed gratitude for Jin’s contribution, emphasizing, “His warm generosity is a great support to our international medical aid efforts.”
Jin’s heartfelt good deeds will contribute to creating a warmer and healthier society, she said.
