Houston Named OVC Indoor Track Athlete of the Week

BRENTWOOD, TENN. – On Wednesday, the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) announced their indoor track and field athletes of the week. Sa’Nijah Houston, a member of the Lindenwood track and field program was honored as the female track athlete of the week, based on her performances at the Show-Me Showdown meet, held at the University of Missouri on January 17.

Houston the Florida native, placed first in the 400-meter dash, running a time of 56.69, setting a new personal best. Houston also ran in the 200-meter dash, placing third, running a time of 24.74, setting a new personal best.

You can catch Houston, and the Lindenwood track and field program, January 25, at the Bob-Teel Invitational, held at the University of Missouri, at 11:00 AM CT.
