Automobili Lamborghini achieves record deliveries with 10,687 car sales in 2024, ET Auto
Lamborghini Urus Automobili Lamborghini achieved record-breaking delivery figures in 2024, exceeding 10,000 units globally and marking a 6% increase over 2023. This success is attributed to strong customer loyalty, expanding market reach, and a strategic focus on innovation and brand excellence. The growth was observed across all regions and product lines, including the newly launched Revuelto and the upcoming Urus SE plug-in hybrid. Lamborghini India also contributed significantly, delivering 113 cars, a 10% rise compared to the previous year. This performance sets the stage for continued growth in 2025, supported by a fully hybridized product range and ongoing investments in technology.Growth across regions
Lamborghini delivered 10,687 cars in 2024, a 6% increase compared to 2023. This achievement marks the company’s highest ever annual delivery figure. Growth was seen across all regions – EMEA, Americas, and APAC. The company attributes this success to its strategic focus on product innovation and brand building, as well as a loyal and expanding customer base. The introduction of new models like the Revuelto and the upcoming Urus SE plug-in hybrid contributed significantly to the positive results. Lamborghini India also reported record deliveries, with 113 cars sold in 2024, a 10% increase from the previous year.“2024 was a year of continuous growth for Automobili Lamborghini, in line with the positive trend of the last several years: an accomplishment that reflects the increasingly strong bond we have with our customers and the growing interest in our brand shown by new generations,” remarked Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini.
Lamborghini EMEA region
Lamborghini’s EMEA region saw a 6% growth with 4,227 cars delivered. The Americas followed with a 7% increase and 3,712 units delivered. The APAC region experienced a 3% rise, reaching a total of 2,748 deliveries. This balanced regional growth reflects the brand’s global presence across 56 markets.
“In a period of transformation we have introduced models that earned the seal of approval, reflecting our commitment to always pushing boundaries and expectation while focused on sustainable development. The results highlight the success of strategically balancing supply and demand, along with a well-calibrated order portfolio, strengthening the brand’s desirability and the residual value of our products,” he added.
Lamborghini Revuelto
The Lamborghini Revuelto, the company’s first V12 hybrid super sports car, garnered significant attention and orders since its unveiling in March 2023. The order book for the Revuelto currently extends until the end of 2026. The Huracán, despite nearing the end of its production cycle, also contributed to the company’s success in 2024, with deliveries of remaining units scheduled throughout 2025. The Huracán’s successor, the Temerario, was revealed in August 2024 and is poised to continue the brand’s legacy.
“2024 was an extraordinary year for Automobili Lamborghini, with results that reflect not only the strength of our product portfolio, but also the crucial support of our network of 186 dealers and the brand’s well-established presence in all 56 international markets where we operate,” said Federico Foschini, Chief Marketing and Sales Officer.
Lamborghini Urus
The Urus continues to be a key model for Lamborghini, further strengthened by the introduction of the Urus SE plug-in hybrid version in April 2024. This new model is set to replace the existing Urus S and Performante versions and received a positive global response, solidifying Lamborghini’s position in the super SUV segment.
Within an 18-month period, Lamborghini launched three new models and completed its transition to a fully hybrid range, aligning with its Direzione Cor Tauri strategy. This makes Lamborghini the first super sports car manufacturer to offer a fully electrified portfolio.
Future outlook
Lamborghini is confident in its robust product lineup for 2025 and beyond. The company plans to continue investing in technological innovation as part of its ongoing investment strategy, aiming to maintain its leadership in the super sports car market.
The Huracán, offered in five versions (Sterrato, EVO Spyder, Tecnica, STO, and STJ), is nearing the end of its production run. The Temerario, unveiled during Monterey Car Week 2024, is set to succeed the Huracán, showcasing innovative design and advanced technology.
Lamborghini anticipates strong performance in 2025 and the following years.
