The Indo-Türkiye Friendship Association (ITFA) and Telangana’s startup incubator T-Hub signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Turkish Consulate General in Hyderabad on Friday, to enhance cooperation and foster investment and trade opportunities between the two countries.

In 2024, trade between the two nations reached $13 billion. Both governments have set a mid-term target of $20 billion, recognising the potential for expanding and diversifying trade and investment. Given the scale of their economies, there is significant scope for strengthening economic ties.

Key growth sectors in both countries include IT, software, pharmaceuticals, defense, aerospace, cybersecurity, green and renewable energy, and critical minerals. Additionally, areas such as health, food security, logistics, and supply chain management are becoming increasingly important, highlighting shared priorities and opportunities for collaboration.
