Team Germany wins gold at the 2025 International Snow Sculpture Championships

After working hard through the cold temperatures in Breckenridge over the last week, a champion of the 2025 International Snow Sculpture Championships has been crowned.

This year, Team Germany’s “Apex — zero-gravity series” won the gold medal. Following Team Germany was Team Mexico’s “Descendant” in second and Team India’s “Mind in Meditation” in the bronze-medal position.

Additionally, Team Mexico won the Lothar Luboschik Artist’s Choice award. People’s Choice voting remains open until Saturday, Jan. 25, at 2 p.m. via GoBreck.com/vote. This year, nine international teams and three U.S. teams created snow sculptures in the week-long competition.

All of the completed snow sculptures will remain on display outside of the Riverwalk Center through Wednesday, Jan. 29 at 5 p.m.
