5-Star ATH Brandon Arrington Names B1G Giants as Inclination After 34 College Football Offers
That $23 million is about to do wonders. The #1 ATH in the entire country (class of 2026) – if a guy like that wants to join your program, then you are doing something right. Over 34 colleges have thrown in their papers and Brandon Arrington is still waiting for that B1G champ…. Despite what happened during the playoffs, this one HC has solidified himself as one of the best. 3rd year and the program almost claws its way to the natty? That is praise-worthy and if we were Brandon Arrington, we would love to call this place home. But enough of beating around the bush. Guess who Brandon is siding with. Wait, no answers? Here’s a hint, Penn State fans hate that team for taking away the Lions’ seed…
“Oregon is one of the top schools for 5-star ATH Brandon Arrington after his visit to Eugene, per @ChadSimmons_” On3 pointed out on X. See, Brandon had only one thing to say: “It is that program that can get you to your max potential.” And he isn’t technically wrong. Now a lot of people would bash the Ducks and Dan Lanning with “they don’t develop their players”. But did you not see Dillon Gabriel improve as a QB under Lanning? He-k he even cracked the Heisman Top 4 list.

Now natty run aside, whatever Lanning has done for UO, it’s simply massive. “So, Dan Lanning, he’s in his third year at Oregon. Not even 40 years old yet. To define what he is, as a head coach or to craft this narrative around, what Oregon football is based on who Dan Lanning is. That’s just, it’s so useless,” J.D. PicKell had pointed out. With the “Cinderella” story ending, the hate Lanning was bombarded with was unnecessary.
He did more than enough to make the Ducks the “Kings” of CFB. Yeah, they had a few close calls mid-season with their offense falling off, but they made one solid comeback and knocked the Lions out for the B1G title and got their seed.
Lanning has what it takes to take this program to great heights and if Brandon joins in? It’s going to be a lot of fun. But hey, 2026 is still far away. Why not shed light on some “potential” breakout stars Lanning is hiding in his pocket for the 2025 run?

“Offense issues”. From the top of our heads, Lanning and Ducks have 2 solid players who could fix this problem next season. 1: Jeremiah McClellan. Almost the entire Bucks and Ducks fanbase went wild when McClellan decided to flip from OSU to Oregon – on signing day itself.
A big blow for Ryan Day but a win for the 2025 class. For this season, McClellan saw limited production – appearing in 3 games with 24 yards under his belt. However, do not let this fool you from the fact that this guy has what it takes to be a dynamic receiver on the gridiron.
And to match his size and speed, the 2nd candidate to look out for would be Dante Moore. Now is Moore exactly a “new” breakout star? Not really. Already has over 1600 yards with 11 TDs in 14 games (2023 + 2024 combined). The Ducks’ fans know him, but he still has the potential to be the next QB threat from Oregon (If Lanning focuses on building up).
