UMD women’s hockey slides to #6 in latest USCHO poll

The previously fourth ranked UMD women’s hockey team has slipped to #6 in the USCHO polls.

After getting swept by Ohio State two weeks ago, they held their number four spot, however getting swept against unranked St. Thomas this past weekend put them at four straight losses, enough for them to move back in the polls.

It’s the first time since October 21st that UMD isn’t ranked fourth.

The Bulldogs have the chance to return to the 4th spot in the rankings when they welcome in the top team in the nation this weekend, Wisconsin. Puck drops on Friday night against the Badgers at 6:01 p.m.
