FAGE leads Ghana’s $10 billion export drive at Fruit Logistica in Berlin

The Federation of Associations of Ghanaian Exporters (FAGE) is set to make a powerful statement at Fruit Logistica 2025 in Berlin, Germany.

FAGE will lead a delegation of Ghana’s premier horticultural businesses to showcase the nation’s diverse agricultural offerings in Europe from the 5th to the 7th of February.

In a strategic move to amplify Ghana’s presence in the global agricultural market, FAGE in partnership with the Ghana Export Promotion Authority will use this platform to launch the groundbreaking Ghana Horticulture Expo 2025.

The Ghana pavilion will spotlight the country’s premium exports, including its internationally acclaimed sugarloaf pineapple, tropical mangoes, and innovative fonio products.

Special pitch sessions will highlight Ghana’s exceptional produce range, featuring chilli peppers, sweet potatoes, yam, and coconuts, demonstrating the country’s agricultural diversity and export readiness.

“Our participation at Fruit Logistica 2025 represents a crucial step in expanding Ghana’s footprint in the global horticultural market,” says Davies Korboe, the President of FAGE.

“By launching the Ghana Horticulture Expo 2025 at this prestigious event, we’re creating a powerful platform for international trade relationships and showcasing Ghana’s commitment to agricultural excellence.

“The plan is to strategically build relationships and capacity to increase our Non-Traditional Export value from about $3 billion to $10 billion by 2029. The Fruit Logistica event presents a great opportunity to reach the market and sell Ghana.”

The Ghana Horticulture Expo 2025, a three-day event, will serve as a comprehensive showcase of Ghana’s horticultural and allied industries, offering unprecedented networking and business opportunities for local and international stakeholders.
