Here’s when and where to stream Oscar-nominated short film

The Oscar-nominated live-action short film Anuja will open on February 5, 2025, delivering this moving and motivational tale to viewers on Netflix. The short film is a positive and touching story about love, perseverance, and opportunity in the face of adversity, and it was created by husband-and-wife team Adam J. Graves and Suchitra Mattai.

Anuja, a talented nine-year-old, and Palak, her older sister, work at a seedy garment factory in the caravan. A caring educator gives Anuja the opportunity to attend a prestigious boarding school, but the sisters must overcome obstacles that strain their friendship and strength of character before they can make a decision that will change their lives—a choice that many young girls throughout the world must make.

Mindy Kaling, who produced Anuja, expressed her delight at the film’s arrival on Netflix, a platform that allows it to reach a global audience. Bela Bajaria, along with Netflix India, expressed her eternal gratitude for sharing her appreciation for this stunning short film!
