Rashmika Mandanna signs back-to-back films with Sikandar co-star Salman Khan; here’s the scoop!

Rashmika Mandanna has been having a wonderful time filming for AR Murugadoss’ Sikandar alongside Salman Khan. This fresh pairing is very much anticipated this year and many are looking forward to it. However, Salman and Rashmika will reunite on the big screen even before the release of Sajid Nadiadwala’s Sikandar. According to the latest reports, the upcoming Atlee directorial will feature the duo opposite each other.

Atlee and Salman Khan impressed by Rashmika Mandanna’s performance

A source informed Filmfare that Salman and Rashmika had a fantastic working relationship on the sets of Sikandar. Her performance in Pushpa 2: The Rule equally captivated Atlee and the superstar. And that’s why she’ll be joining Salman and Atlee in their next flick.

Earlier in an interview with Pinkvilla, Rashmika revealed that she is very anxious as she is working with Salman. However, she has never done commercial Bollywood before, and Sikandar will be her first film in that genre. The actor is not someone who desires to be typecast or used solely for performances, so naturally, she is really excited. Therefore, Rashmika takes pleasure in it; in fact, she takes pleasure in all of them, and she will persuade others of this.

Festive dance sequences and music for Sikandar

Meanwhile, as per the entertainment portal, Salman, Nadiadwala, and Murugadoss’s primary goal in creating Sikandar was to compose a joyful album in time for the 2025 Eid release. Earlier this month, for the film, Salman and Rashmika filmed two dance routines with Eid and Holi as backdrops. 

Since the entire cast and crew were bopping along during filming, these two songs are sure to become radio hits. Both pieces are, in Salman’s opinion, among Pritam’s finest. Every member of the Sikandar crew is sure they will create an album that people will talk about for years to come.

Nadiadwala’s decision to unveil the film’s graphics has given the action in Sikandar a fresh flavour, leaving the viewer pleasantly surprised. Two additional songs, one of which is a love ballad, are also in the works, in addition to these two dancing numbers.

Sikandar is slated for an Eid 2025 release.
