Bruce Campbell Hilariously Explains Why He Hates THE LORD OF THE RINGS Movies and Peter Jackson — GeekTyrant

Bruce Campbell is not a fan of The Lord of the Rings. In fact, he hates the films and hates Peter Jackson. He explained on a panel why.

First thing he mentions that that he’s never seen the films and he’s never met Peter Jackson. So why all the hate?

Well, Campbell was in New Zealand shooting his TV show Jack of All Trades, which lasted only one season, at the same time that Jackson was shooting The Lord of the Rings films.

It turns out that the TV show needed only one horse in the show, but Jackson ended up using all of the good horses in the country for his movies. So, Campbell was stuck filming Jack of All Trades with a swayback nag named “Widowmaker.”

Because of that, he say’s he’ll never watch those movies. It’s a lot of fun watching him tell the story, so you can watch that below!
