Rahul Gandhi Slams Union Budget 2025, Calls It ‘Band-Aid for Bullet Wounds’ | Pragativadi

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi strongly criticized the Union Budget 2025-26, accusing the government of failing to address the real issues facing the country.

Taking a sharp dig at the Modi-led government, he called the budget a “band-aid for bullet wounds,” implying that it offers superficial solutions to deep-rooted economic and social challenges.

Gandhi alleged that the budget does little to tackle rising unemployment, inflation, and economic disparity. He claimed that while the government boasts about development schemes, the ground reality remains grim for the poor, farmers, and middle-class citizens.

“The budget is full of grand announcements, but where is the concrete relief for common people? There is no real action on job creation, MSME support, or inflation control. This is yet another election-driven budget with no long-term vision,” he said.

He further criticized the lack of major stimulus for struggling sectors and accused the government of favoring corporates over the working class.

The Congress party has vowed to raise these concerns in Parliament and among the public, challenging the government’s claims of a people-centric budget.
