Samay Raina deletes ‘India’s Got Latent’ videos after controversy

Stand-up comedian Samay Raina has deleted all episodes of his YouTube show India’s Got Latent following widespread backlash over controversial remarks made during the show.

Taking to Instagram, Raina stated, “Everything that is happening has been too much for me to handle. I have removed all India’s Got Latent videos from my channel. My only objective was to make people laugh and have a good time. I will fully cooperate with all agencies to ensure their inquiries are concluded fairly. Thank you.”

Despite his statement, the controversy continues to spark outrage, with politicians and netizens calling for strict action.

Ranveer Allahbadia issues apology

Podcaster and entrepreneur Ranveer Allahbadia issued a public apology, admitting to a “lapse of judgment” regarding his comments on the show. However, the details of the remarks in question remain unclear.

Following a complaint filed with the Mumbai Commissioner and the Maharashtra Women’s Commission, a team from Assam Police has arrived in Mumbai to investigate the matter.
