BSEB Matric Exam 2025: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has decided to conduct the Matric exams in two shifts- morning (starting at 9 AM) and afternoon (beginning at 2 PM). This year too, the board has followed this pattern. According to the schedule released by the board, the class 10 board exams began on February 17 and still going on.
Today, the board is conducting the Class 10th or Matric final exam for the Social Science paper in two shifts. The first shift is underway (for paper code 111) and then from 2 pm shift 2 will begin (for paper code 211).
BSEB Matric Exam 2025: Instructions for the students
Every student must arrive at least 30 minutes before the exam begins. The second shift requires them to show up at or before 1:30 a.m. To prevent overcrowding, the board advises everyone to arrive at the site one hour early.
Every candidate must bring their admit cards to the exam location. Applicants will not be permitted to access the exam centre without this document. Bluetooth, mobile phones, earbuds, smartwatches, and other electronic devices are not permitted in the exam hall.
BSEB Matric Exam 2025: Exam pattern and Marking scheme
Bihar board exams will be graded with 80 points for some courses and 100 points for others.
Candidates are allowed an additional 15 minutes to read through the questions. The question paper is organized into sections. Section A contains 100 objective-type questions, with 50 of them to be answered. Each question is worth one mark. Section B contains 30 short answer questions, 15 of which must be answered. Each question will carry two points. Aside from these, there are eight lengthy answer questions, four of which must be answered. Each question receives 5 points.
Section A of a topic with 80 theoretical marks will include 80 objective-type questions, 40 of which are mandatory. If the candidate answers more than 40 questions, only the first 40 responses will be considered. Each question is worth one mark.
