35th Vankleek Hill Music Festival finishes on a high note

The first weekend of May was the last weekend of the 35th annual Vankleek Hill Music Festival. Concerts took place on Friday May 2, Saturday May 3, and Sunday, May 4 at Knox Presbyterian Church. Contributions from Vankleek Hill Collegiate Institute (VCI) were prominent at the May 2 concert. The VCI Choir, Fiddlers, and Concert Band all performed that evening. Music Festival organizer ian hepburn remarked how it is great to see a complete band representing the local high school.

This year, 121 solo and group performances were featured at the Vankleek Hill Music Festival, which is sponsored by The Review. Most performers are students of local music teachers Christos Bereris, Linda Crawford, Rosemary Harden, hepburn, Alice Rodger, and Pierre Shields.

The Vankleek Hill Music Festival is sponsored by The Review in the interest of supporting musical performance, education, and community cohesion.
