3M India appoints Aseem Joshi as President & MD

 3M India has announced the appointment of Aseem Joshi as President and Managing Director (designate).

Joshi brings over 25 years of experience across engineering, consulting, business development, and leadership roles at IBM, McKinsey, Eaton, and Honeywell. Most recently, from 2021 to 2025, he served as CEO, India Business, at GMM Pfaudler.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Pune, an MS in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech, USA, and an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France.

At 3M India, Joshi will lead the development and execution of the company’s growth strategy, with a focus on commercial excellence, new products, and operational efficiency. He will work closely with the incumbent, Ramesh Ramadurai, as part of a transition plan. Joshi will assume the formal designation of Managing Director of 3M India at a later date, subject to the approval of the Board of Directors and shareholders.

Commenting on his new role, Joshi said, “I am excited to join 3M and lead the growth of the India business. I have always admired 3M for its innovation and leadership across sectors. I look forward to working with 3M’s local and global teams to deliver for our customers and stakeholders.”
