Nashville star Blake Shelton signs new deal with BBR/BMG

On the heels of announcing he would leave his 23-year-long label partnership with Warner Music Nashville, country superstar Blake Shelton revealed Monday he had signed with BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville.

Jon Loba, President, Frontline Recordings, Americas, BMG, said in a statement that Shelton is one of the biggest personalities and presences in the media today.

“We are so excited he’s joining the BMG Global family and cannot wait to share his incredible new music with the world,” the statement continued. “He’s been laser-focused on delivering some of the best of his career and it shows. We have been dancing through the office, literally not just figuratively, since we heard the first couple songs he played for us!”
