Romeo Beckham Makes A Surprise Appearance On The Versace AW25 Catwalk In Silver Chainmail
Romeo Beckham made a surprise cameo at Milan Fashion Week tonight, taking to the Versace autumn/winter 2025 catwalk in a silver chainmail top, black tailored trousers and embellished gloves. Appearing in a line-up alongside seasoned stars like Lila Moss, Alex Consani and Mona Tougaard, it’s fair to say that David and Victoria’s second-oldest son looked more than at home on the runway.
Of course, it’s not the first time that Romeo has dipped his toe into the world of modelling. Last season, the former footballer made his blink-and-you’ll-miss-it catwalk debut at the Balenciaga spring/summer 2025 show during Paris Fashion Week, sporting face-shielding glasses, a striped polo top and low-rise cargo pants. Way before that, in 2013, he appeared in his first Burberry campaign at the age of just 10, starring alongside Cara Delevingne and Edie Campbell.

Tonight’s catwalk appearance is a particularly special one, though, considering mother Victoria’s long-standing friendship with Donatella Versace, which dates back to her Spice Girl days. For her very first Versace show, VB was flown out to Milan on a private jet, before being dressed by the designer. “I put the clothes on and said I liked it, but ‘how about we change the length?’” she recalled during Vogue’s Forces of Fashion event in New York back in October. “I completely redesigned the outfit, I can’t believe I had the audacity to do that. I liked the outfit and it was coming from such a sweet, innocent place, but when I look back I think, how could I have ever said that to Donatella?”
In a season that’s been short on supermodel power so far (bar Naomi Campbell’s appearance at Dsquared2, alongside Doechii), it’s been a fashion month full of celebrity cameos, from Alexa Chung and Fiona Shaw at Simone Rocha to Richard E Grant and Lesley Manville at Burberry. Perhaps it’s a sign of an industry taking itself a little less seriously.
