Science exhibition held at Excel India Model School Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: Excel India Model School in Birsanagar Zone No. 3E Pradhan Colony organized a science exhibition on the occasion of National Science Day to honor the contributions of renowned physicist C.V. Raman and to foster interest in science among students. The exhibition featured a variety of innovative projects, including models on the water cycle, water purification, day and night phenomenon, water overflow alarm, solar and lunar eclipses, wastewater treatment plants, Chandrayaan-3, disaster management, Wi-Fi technology, 3D hologram, lung structure and the respiratory system.

Students actively presented their projects, explaining their concepts in detail and answering questions from visitors. The Principal of the school, Mamta Kumari, appreciated the students’ creativity and scientific curiosity. She stated that the exhibition provided an excellent platform for students to demonstrate their understanding of scientific principles through practical applications. She emphasized that National Science Day serves as a reminder of the importance of science in everyday life and encourages students to explore their interests further in the field.

The event concluded with an award ceremony recognizing outstanding projects. Ankita Uraon and Shravan Munda secured the first prize, Shikha Soren won the second prize and Silky Kumari received the third prize. Several other students, including Reena Kumari, Sakshi Das, Asin Horo, Payal Kumari, Kajal Kumari, Rani Lohar, Sushant Munda, Chaitanya Besra, Rangeela Soren, Shreya Gop, Pramod Kumar, Dushyant Kumar, Sonakshi Kumari, Shiv Kumar Sahu, Robin Hembram and Gaurav Tantubai, actively participated in the exhibition. Teachers and staff members were also present, making the event a great success.
