The 97th Academy Awards will not take place until later this evening, but last night in Los Angeles, the Charles Finch and Chanel pre-Oscars dinner definitely brought out some trophy-worthy looks ahead of the main event. The annual soiree took place at the Polo Lounge in the Beverly Hills Hotel. Every year, the intimate pre-party gathering serves as a glamorous hangout for Oscar nominees and industry greats to let their hair down, reflect, and connect before the very last big award show of the season.

Last night marked the 16th year the iconic French fashion house has thrown this party, and every year it seems the celebrity guest looks get better and better. In true Chanel fashion, many stars came decked out in different interpretations of the black, cream, sparkly tweed, and jeweled ensembles that are iconic of the brand. Others stood out in sleek leather and fringy fur.

Among this year’s attendees were Kim Kardashian, Lily Rose Depp, Mick Jagger, Olivia Munn, and our favorite movie star sisters, Elle and Dakota Fanning.
