Between the 10th and the 15th June 2025 three Manchester United Legends will be coming to Thailand to support “Copa Tailandesa” 2025, a youth football academy tournament taking place at Arena, Hua Hin.
This second year of the International tournament “Copa Tailandesa” is attracting not only football scouts from around the world but also some footballing legends from Manchester United who will be in Thailand on holiday and are joining to present the winning teams and players of the tournament with the trophies.
Led by the legendary hitman “Brian Choccy McClair” who scored a massive one hundred and twenty seven goals for the reds, the trio also includes England, United defender Paul Parker and United’s top coach Mike Phelan. Also joining the Copa event is “The Voice of Old Trafford” “Alan Keegan” and Saxaphone sensation from Britain’s Got Talent” “Julian Smith”.
What promises to be six top days of showcasing emerging Thai and International soccer stars and is hosted by Arena, Hua Hin and Avani+ Hotel, Hua Hin. Founder and British music producer “Will Robinson” says “last year’s tournament was great fun, over one hundred rising stars took part. It’s nice to give so many youth players a chance of getting noticed”.
Academies can enter by contacting Nim on the Copa Tailandesa website. One of Spain’s leading International academies “Academia de Real International” who is known for their development partnerships and breaking players with La Liga’s clubs is flying out a squad from their Malaga base to defend last year’s title.
Brian’s McClair and his United friends will also be meeting locals, fans and players at a Legends dinner on the 14th June at Avani+ Hotel. Tickets are now on sale now at 2950 Baht.
