Stellantis Introduces Eurorepar Car Service in India with Chennai Workshop
Stellantis, a global automaker and mobility provider, has entered India’s automotive aftermarket with the launch of Eurorepar Car Service (ERCS), opening its first multi-brand workshop, Moto-R, in Chennai. The initiative, announced today, aims to provide competitively priced vehicle maintenance and servicing options to Indian car owners, drawing on Stellantis’ international experience in the industry.
Eurorepar Car Service, which operates in over 30 countries with more than 6,000 service centers worldwide, offers an alternative to traditional OEM workshops. In India, Stellantis has set a target to expand the ERCS network to over 100 multi-brand service centers within the next two years, responding to the increasing demand for reliable and accessible car servicing across various vehicle brands.
The move comes as India’s automotive market continues to grow, with car owners seeking cost-effective and dependable maintenance solutions for a range of vehicle brands. Stellantis intends to meet this need by offering services through Eurorepar Car Service, supported by its global resources, including parts for imported and completely built-up (CBU) vehicles.
The services provided at ERCS workshops include general maintenance and diagnostics, repairs using genuine spare parts, AC servicing, electrical diagnostics, bodywork, tire replacement, alignment, and balancing. With this launch, Stellantis aims to strengthen its presence in India’s aftermarket and improve vehicle maintenance options for customers nationwide as it rolls out its expansion plans.
Stellantis operates in India with a portfolio of brands including Jeep and Citroën. Formed in 2021 through a merger between Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and PSA Group, Stellantis aims to deliver a range of vehicles that cater to the Indian market’s evolving demands. With a focus on SUVs, especially with the Jeep brand, and compact cars through Citroën, Stellantis addresses various segments that appeal to a broad customer base.
To strengthen its position, Stellantis continues to expand its product lineup, tailor marketing efforts, and improve dealership networks across India. Despite the competitive landscape, the group aims to carve a niche by offering a blend of global expertise and locally-relevant products that align with the unique preferences of the Indian market.
