I’ve been navigating some serious health issues lately, and it has made me realize how precious life is, especially for my two wonderful daughters. 4. Did you completely cut-down on sugar?

Yes, I’ve almost cut down on sugar. But to be honest, I still find it hard to resist one piece of sweet when someone offers it.

5. Did you have cheat meals? If yea, then how many times in a week? What is your go-to cheat meal?

Yes, I enjoy having a cheat meal on the weekends. My go-to options are pizza loaded with veggies and malai chaap!

6. What is one rule that you abide by for losing weight?

One rule I abide by in my weight loss journey is to focus on whole, nutrient-dense foods. This means prioritizing fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains while minimizing processed foods and added sugars. It helps me stay satisfied and energized while reaching my goals!

7. What was one thing that worked best for you?

One thing that worked best for me was planning and executing my goals, even amidst a busy work routine as a senior manager handling a large team in an outsourcing firm. Staying organized and motivating myself each day made a significant difference. As the saying goes, “Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out.” This mindset helped me remain focused and committed to my weight loss journey!

8. One challenge that you faced and how did you overcome it?

One challenge I faced was navigating various ups and downs in my health, including a fracture in my finger and significant office stress. Despite these hurdles, I stayed committed to my journey, fueled by the joyful smiles of my sweet daughters.

9. -Is there a weight loss myth that you got to know about during your journey?

Yes, one common weight loss myth I encountered was the idea that skipping meals is an effective way to lose weight. I learned that this approach can actually slow down your metabolism and lead to unhealthy eating habits later on. Instead, I found that eating balanced meals throughout the day keeps my energy levels up and helps me stay on track with my goals. It’s all about nourishing your body rather than depriving it!

One message I want to share with everyone is to listen to yourself and compete with yourself. Embrace positive qualities from those around you and let go of negativity. Keep your mind calm and be patient on your journey, whether it relates to weight loss, health, studies, work, or any other aspect of life. As I always say, “Your only limit is you—believe in yourself and keep moving forward!”
