Two Williston football standouts signed to play at the college level.

WILLISTON, Fla. (WCJB) – On Friday afternoon at the auditorium located at Williston Middle High School, two Williston football standouts “put pen to paper” as they sign to play at the college level and pursue their dream career paths.

Senior kicker Ryan Gagne is taking his kicking talents to Edward Waters University in Jacksonville. Gagne earned the John Williams trophy that recognizes the best kicker in the area and plans to pursue engineering.

And senior wideout Giovanni Wright signs with the University of Ottawa in Kansas. Wright had a pair of touchdown catches against KIPP Bold City and speaking about bold.

In the classroom, Wright is a whiz in math and plans to use those mathematical talents in the financial world.
