Recruitment & Assessment Centre (RAC), Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has notified the recruitment of Project Scientists on contractual basis for DRDO, Hyderabad.

The positions are tenure-based, purely on contractual basis, for Programme of DRDO.

Initially the contract will be till 18^th April 2027 which may be extended depending upon the performance of the Project Scientist and if the requirement exists.

The positions, vacancies, Consolidated Pay per month and essential qualification are as follows:

Project Scientist ‘F’ Computer Science & Engineering (01 Vacancy, Consolidated Pay per month- Rs. 2,20,717/-) – (i) At least First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university or equivalent (ii) Minimum 10 years of working experience in the design and development of application software with scripting languages like Python, Perl / Bash, Programming languages C / C++.

Project Scientist ‘D’ Electronics & Communication Engineering (10 Vacancies; Consolidated Pay per month Rs. 1,24,612/-) – (i) At least First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university or equivalent (ii) Minimum 5 years of working experience in the design, development & Testing of Electronics/ RF System/ sub systems (iii) Experience in handling test & measurement equipment like signal generators, Spectrum Analyzers & Network Analyzers.

Project Scientist ‘C’ Electronics & Communication Engineering (07 Vacancies, Consolidated Pay per month Rs. 1,08,073/-) –(i) At least First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university or equivalent (ii) Minimum 3 Years of working experience3 in the design, development & Testing of Electronics/ RF System/ sub systems.

Project Scientist ‘B’ Electronics & Communication Engineering (02 Vacancies, Consolidated Pay per month Rs. 90,789/-) – At least First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university or equivalent.

Upper age Limit (as on closing date of advertisement): (i) Project Scientist ‘F’: 55 years (ii) Project Scientist ‘D’: 45 years (iii) Project Scientist ‘C’: 40 years (iv) Project Scientist ‘B’: 35 years. Relaxation in upper age limit (as per Govt. Rules) is given in the Notification
