Fresh interpretations of the Louis Vuitton Bed Trunk blend heritage with modern luxury travel design

Following Louis Vuitton’s reintroduction of the iconic Bed Trunk, or Malle Lit, in April, the luxury brand now presents two fresh interpretations of the classic piece, with creative input by Nicolas Ghesquière, artistic director of the brand’s women’s collections, and Pharrell Williams, the men’s creative director.

Invented by Louis Vuitton himself in 1868, the portable bed designed for globetrotting explorers quickly became a must-have for travellers, explorers, and military officers on manoeuvres and campaigns.
