ASDOE 42nd Annual Science Fair Competition underway | American Samoa

Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — The 2025 ASDOE Annual Science Fair competition began yesterday, on Monday, March 24, at the Gov. H. Rex Lee Auditorium, and will continue through to the 28th. The annual event was postponed in February 2025.

Its theme this year is “Spirit of Discovery”.

Monday began for K-2 Cluster students only, called Science Explorers Day. Some of the students are seen here on Day 1 of the ASDOE’s 42nd Annual Science Fair competition. There was no judging, just an open to the public day of Science Explorers dedicated to the Territory’s youngest scientists.

Competition begins today, Tuesday, Mar. 25th for Elementary Science Fair – 3-5 & 6-8 Cluster students, on Wednesday, Mar. 26 is Secondary Registration with set up of projects.

Thursday, Mar. 27 is Secondary Science Fair Day with judging to occur.

Friday, Mar. 28 is Awards Ceremony day.
