Stocks Surged: Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE
NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Thursday.
These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Kanani Inds(14.22%), Vipul Organics(13.50%), Virtual Global(13.33%), DCM Nouvelle(13.21%), Khandwala Sec(13.13%), Triveni Glass(13.03%), Valiant Laboratories(12.74%), Shiva Texyarn(12.65%), Bannari Amman(12.31%) and Donear Ind(12.12%).
The 30-share Sensex ended 322.08 points down at 76295.36, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 82.25 points down at 23250.1.
In the Nifty 50 index, 23 stocks ended in the green, while 27 stocks closed in the red.
Meanwhile, stocks such as Sharp Investments, Mangalore Chem, Vadilal Enterprises, GRM Overseas and NACL Industries hit their fresh 52-week high, while Kay Power & Paper, Katare Spinning, Dabur India, Spectrum Electrical and AGS Transact Tech touched their new 52-week low in today’s trade.
