Music4All fundraiser for Doane Music School set for Saturday at The Duke in Leslieville – Beach Metro Community News

A fundraiser in support of the Doane Music School is set to take place on Saturday, April 5, in Leslieville.

The Music4All event takes place from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at The Duke, 1225 Queen St. E., at the southwest corner of Leslie Street.

The Doane Music School is one of Canada’s largest children’s music charities, and Music4All will feature live performances from school alumnae members including Rosie Dykstra, and bands Dirty Dishes and Big Night Out.

Early Bird tickets for the all-ages event are $20 and can be ordered in advance by going

Tickets at the door on Saturday will be $22, There is also a special price of $14 for those ages 25 and under.

There will also be a silent auction at Saturday’s event to help raise funds for the school.

Juno Award winning musician Melanie Doane is the founder of the Doane Music School. Founded in 2009, the school is a registered charitable organization dedicated to making music education accessible to children regardless of their financial circumstances.
