Delhi Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa chairs meeting to review Delhi pollution
Delhi Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa haired a meeting with Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) to review strict enforcement of dust mitigation measures at construction sites. Sirsa directed officials to ensure:
- Mandatory use of anti-smog guns
- Tarpaulin & green net covers on all sites
- Video fencing with PTZ cameras & PM2.5 sensors for real-time monitoring
- Prominent DPCC clearance display at all major sites
- Maintaining clean and dust-free surroundings with the help of water sprinklers
“The Delhi government is working on the vision of Prime Minister Modi. Today we have decided that we will make it rain in Delhi through cloud seeding. We want to trial it once. Our effort will be to make it rain in Delhi through cloud seeding and reduce pollution here,” Sirsa said further
