Salman Khan’s film earns just Rs 25 lakh on Day 17

Sikandar box office collection Day 17: Bollywood star Salman Khan’s much-hyped action drama Sikandar collected Rs 25 lakh at the domestic box office on day 17, its third Monday. The movie is facing a tough battle at the domestic box office, with its collections continuing to decline.

On Monday, the film earned Rs 29 lakhs, marking one of its lowest single figures since release. But this has also dipped to a new low of just Rs 25 lakh. Initially, Sikandar showed a strong opening but is now struggling to breach the Rs 110 crore mark.

According to a Sacnik report, the Sikandar had an overall 14.55% Hindi occupancy on April 15. So far, the film’s total collection stands at Rs 109.64 crore. ” The movie had a good start, earning Rs 90.25 crore in its first weekend. However, its earnings dropped significantly by almost 80.55% in the second week, bringing in only Rs 17.55 crore, the report said.

The film was released on Eid, expecting a good fourth weekend at the box office with the upcoming extended Easter holiday. Trade analysts note that this movie can earn and end its theatrical run with only marginal gain beyond Rs 115 crore. This could just go on to become one of Salman’s worst-performing movies at the box office.

The movie is directed by AR Murugadoss, featuring Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles. Besides the lead cast, the movie also features Kajal Aggarwal, Prateik Babbar, Sharman Joshi, and Sathyaraj.
