Used-car seller Cars24 acquires auto forum Team-BHP

New and used car retail platform Cars24 said on Wednesday that it has acquired automotive review and discussion forum Team-BHP. Details of the deal were not disclosed.

According to a statement by Cars24, Team-BHP will continue to operate independently with its founding team. The news and discussion website will maintain its zero-sponsored content policy, under which it does not accept advertisements from auto manufacturers.

Cars24 will work with Team-BHP to improve platform capabilities, enhance user experience and introduce new features for users.

“With CARS24 backing us, and their technology and data layered into our platform, we can now build with more scale, more depth, and more intent,” said Team-BHP founder Rush Parekh.
