Audit Bureau discusses with USAID strengthening of partnership

Head of the Audit Bureau, Khaled Shakshak, has discussed with a team from USAID, the strengthening of partnership between the two sides.

This came in their meeting on Thursday, in the presence of the directors of the relevant departments, to discuss Enhancing Partnerships for Institutional Capacity Building (EPIC) project.

According to the Audit Bureau, the proposed project aims to build on the successes achieved by the Public Finance Management Programme in Libya, which established a partnership between the agency and the Audit Bureau.

Shakshak emphasized the strenght of partnership with the US agency, and stressed that the level of performance should be at the same pace as it was in previous years.

For her part, the agency’s representative and head of the economic growth team, Marika Olson, praised the successes achieved as a result of the partnership with the Audit Bureau, stressing the need for its continuation.
