Las Vegas Science and Technology Festival dazzles with innovation and imagination
LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The 14th annual Las Vegas Science and Technology Festival captivated attendees on Saturday with its hallmark event, the Giant Science and Technology Expo.
The free, full-day event offered unique opportunities for participants to engage with cutting-edge technologies and partake in mind-bending experiments.
Over 60 STEM organizations from the community showcased hands-on demonstrations, allowing visitors to interact with scientists, researchers, and STEM professionals from across Southern Nevada.
Attendees were treated to live demonstrations featuring robotics, virtual reality, and wildlife encounters.
They also had the chance to examine authentic prehistoric fossils excavated from Nevada’s archaeological sites.
In a tradition that began with Elise L. Wolff Elementary School in 2023, the festival awarded $1,000 to the Clark County School District (CCSD) school with the highest attendance.
This year, Billy and Rosemary Vassiliadis Elementary School received the Giant Expo Attendance Award.
