Twin Temple have released a new single titled “Nothing Matters” and announced a 2027 North American headline tour.
“Nothing Matters” serves as the final preview of the duo’s third album, Doomed Lovers, which arrives this Friday on digital platforms. Physical editions on CD and vinyl will follow on October 23 via Secretly Distribution.
“‘Nothing Matters’ was born out of the bleakest, lowest point of depression and apathy following a devastating loss, functioning as a modern day Gothic lament for a love that refuses to die,” Alexandra and Zachary James said.
“We wanted to make something beautiful out of that experience, pairing the tragic narrative weight with the lush, cinematic sweep of a 37-piece orchestra.”
Doomed Lovers was produced by Shooter Jennings at Sunset Sound’s Studio 3 in Hollywood. The eight-track album incorporates a 37-piece orchestra and features musicians including Matt Chamberlain and Jay Bellerose.
Twin Temple will support the record with a newly announced North American tour beginning February 19 in Salt Lake City. The 20-date run includes stops in Denver, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, New York City, Philadelphia, Boston, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Houston and Austin before concluding March 20 at The Wiltern in Los Angeles.
