Bravo Announces ‘Real Housewives Of Rhode Island,’ ‘Wife Swap’ And More

Bravo just continues getting better.

The entertainment network announced May 7 it’s expanding its lineup of programs with four new series for the year, including another “Real Housewives.”

The franchise will hit Rhode Island and is aptly titled “The Real Housewives of Rhode Island.”

“Set against the shores of the Ocean State, ‘The Real Housewives’ franchise expands into the world of a tight-knit circle of Rhode Islanders who have deep community roots and families that go back generations,” reads a press release from Bravo.

Like in other “Housewives” shows, fans will see the ladies’ “aspirational lives, thriving businesses and tangled family dynamics.”

“These decade-long friendships prove that in a state this small, there’s no escaping your past … or each other,” according to the release.

Bravo also announced it will reimagine “Ladies of London,” “Wife Swap” and “The Valley.”

“Ladies of London” previously aired for three seasons on the network from 2014-2017 and starred Caroline Stanbury, who more recently was a cast member on “The Real Housewives of Dubai.”

Bravo shared the show will return with “a new wave of British blue bloods, ambitious American expats and glamorous international socialites.”

“As tradition clashes with the fast-paced globalized world, these power players redefine what it means to be a woman of status in one of the most iconic cities in the world,” according to the release.

Another Bravo show that will be reimagined is “The Valley,” which is currently airing its second season and stars “Vanderpump Rules” alums Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright and Kristen Doute. A new “Persian Style” of the series is coming soon, featuring some familiar faces: Reza Farahan, Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi and Mercedes “MJ” Javid. The trio previously co-starred on Bravo’s “Shahs of Sunset,” which ran for nine seasons and followed the Persian American friends around Los Angeles.

Finally, Bravo will bring back “Wife Swap,” which aired on ABC and originated on British television.

In “Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition,” a “Real Housewife” “takes off her stilettos and steps into a real housewife’s shoes.”

“All bets are off as two of entertainment’s most iconic franchises are mashed up leading to laugh-out-loud moments, personal epiphanies and an opportunity to see if the grass is truly greener,” reads Bravo’s release.

The network also announced renewals of many existing shows, including “Real Housewives” franchises in Beverly Hills, Orange County, Salt Lake City and Potomac. It also ordered new seasons for “Southern Charm,” “Southern Hospitality,” “Married to Medicine,” “Below Deck Down Under” and “Below Deck Mediterranean.”

Other shows already returning soon include “Below Deck” and “The Real Housewives of Miami.”

“Kings Court,” a new dating series starring Tyson Beckford, Carlos Boozer and Thaddeus “Titus O’Neil” Bullard, premieres July 13. Another new show following the children of Bravo stars called “Next Gen NYC” will premiere June 3.

All Bravo series are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
