Ghana qualifies for Tokyo World Athletics Championships

Ghana’s men’s 4x100m relay team has secured qualification for the upcoming World Athletics Championships in Tokyo after clocking a season-best time of 38.32s.

The quartet—Barnabas Aggerh, Joseph Paul Amoah, Mustapha Alufar Bokpin, and Ibrahim Fuseini—finished second in their qualifying heat behind France at the Guangzhou Relays Day 2.

The French team, made up of Pablo Mateo, Jeff Erius, Ryan Zeze, and Aymeric Priam, crossed the line first with a time of 38.31s.

Ibrahim Fuseini finished off strongl for Ghana to book the ticket to the global showpiece later this year.
