Steve Sarkisian’s Wife Loreal Gets Emotional With Mother’s Day Message to Her 140K Community as Texas HC Shares 3-Word Tribute

This Mother’s Day is extra special for the Sarkisian family—it marks a full-circle moment. A few months ago, Coach Steve Sarkisian and his wife, Loreal Sarkisian, surprised everyone with a baby announcement after quietly working through some personal challenges. Throughout her pregnancy, Loreal stunned in breathtaking outfits, from a burnt orange leather dress at the College Football Playoff to all-black Louis Vuitton in Paris. Looking back, you wouldn’t believe she was pregnant! But as Loreal herself said, “One I was hardly showing! But also, it was a very personal time, a very special time, and a very much our business type of time! Love you all, though.” And just like that, Texas’ first lady is embracing motherhood flawlessly, with a perfect Mother’s Day note for her fellow moms, seamlessly transitioning into this new chapter.

It was the 5th of April when Loreal Sarkisian and Steve Sarkisian welcomed their little bundle of joy, their son Amays. It’s “Amaya with an S, Amays!” said Sark during a spring conference. Who would have thought that a couple who were supposed to get separated would enter into an entirely new journey together? Now, Steve Sarkisian knows what it’s like to be a father, as he is already experiencing it with his three kids: two daughters, Taylor and Ashley, and a son who’s also a Brady who’s also a linebacker in Texas. But for Loreal it’s a new feeling, and she is not just seizing the entire moment but also sharing it with her fellow 140k community.

Loreal Sarkisian got real on being a mother and how it completely changes your life. She puts up a story on IG talking about how motherhood is treating her. “As a new mom, I’m learning how deep, raw, and powerful love can be. I’m discovering strength I didn’t know I had and grace I didn’t know I needed. But as I hold my baby close today, I also hold space in my heart for all the different paths that lead us into the meaning of “mother.” To the brand-new moms: still in awe, still healing, still adjusting, more beautifully than you know,” Loreal said.

She didn’t just stop there; she also talks about the mother guilt that comes when you miss out on any big moment of your child’s life. “To the moms who are missing their own mothers: today may feel heavy. Your grief is love, and your love keeps them alive in you. To those who long to become mothers: your story is not forgotten. You are not alone,” Loreal said. She made it pretty clear that being a mother doesn’t limit you but gives you more strength. “To the moms doing it alone: you are the embodiment of resilience. Your courage moves mountains, even on days when no one sees. To the mothers who have lost a child, there are no words. You carry both love and loss with unimaginable strength. Your motherhood is eternal.”

Loreal Sarkisian makes sure that she offers nothing but love to all new moms just like herself. And she also encourages people who have lost their mother or are longing to become mothers. “Motherhood wears many faces,” she said. “It isn’t always neat or easy. But in all its forms, it is real & worthy. So, to each of you, whether today brings celebration or quiet reflection, I’m sending the warmest hug. You are beautiful. You are capable. You are loving. And in your unique path.”  Look, motherhood comes with challenges, but it’s on you how you own it.

And Loreal Sarkisian is doing it pretty well! With Steve Sarkisian by her side.

Steve Sarkisian’s word of joy for new Mommy!

Sarkisian’s whirlwind offseason shows no signs of slowing him down. He’s skillfully reshaping the Longhorns roster via the transfer portal while fully embracing fatherhood. Between quarterback meetings and team evaluations, diaper changes and late-night feedings are all part of his routine. The team sees a tireless leader; at home, he’s a devoted husband and a proud dad. Sarkisian effortlessly juggles these roles, proving leadership extends beyond the football field.

He even celebrated Mother’s Day amidst film study and roster adjustments, honoring his wife with a heartfelt Instagram post—a glowing maternity photo of Loreal, captioned “Happy Mother’s Day,” complete with a tender kiss. Loreal, too, balances multiple roles. She recently partnered with Randi Mahomes on a San Antonio school fundraiser, transforming the event into a fashionable runway show. “One of my favourite fashion events of the year is the Met Gala…it is held on the 1st Monday of May…this year’s theme is one of my favorites,” Loreal hinted, excitedly anticipating her return to the fashion world.

Loreal’s impeccable tailoring reflects her very soul. Renowned for dressing CEOs and celebrities with precision, she draws inspiration from her Tallahassee roots and years of dedicated work. “The theme is super fine tailoring black style,” she explains, highlighting her passion for craftsmanship and the power of fabric to tell a story. Motherhood hasn’t dimmed her creative fire; this year’s Met Gala feels deeply personal, even poetic.

The excitement surrounding her look mirrors her intense, almost game-day energy. “I’m hopeful that certain people show up. They have not let me down in the past, including Zendaya, Riri, ASAP Rocky, and Janelle Monae. On a side note, I am hoping Kendrick Lamar shows up,” she adds. While Steve handles football strategies, Loreal’s playbook is different—a stunning display of style and meaningful design. It’s commendable how she is not just fulfilling her mommy duties but also making her career a priority.
