“The Contemplation of Tsogtu Khung-Taiji” Documentary Film Premieres

Ulaanbaatar, May 13, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The National Library of Mongolia premiered
the documentary film “The Contemplation of Tsogtu Khung-Taiji” as the first
screening in the Library’s mini movie theatre on May 9, 2025.

The documentary film was produced by the National Library of
Mongolia in commemoration of the 400th anniversary of the “Stone Inscriptions
of Tsogtu Khung-Taiji, Prince of Khalkha,” which was registered in UNESCO’s
Memory of the World program. The premiere was held in celebration of National
Language and Script Day, marking the 120th anniversary of the birth of renowned
scholar and academician Rinchen Byamba, as well as the 80th anniversary of the
film “Tsogt Taij.”

This melodramatic documentary was filmed on location at historical
sites, with its screenplay based on archival sources in the National Library of
Mongolia.

The documentary film will screen at the National
Library of Mongolia until May 23, 2025.
