Allcargo Group appoints Ravi Jakhar as Group CFO and Director of Strategy, ET Infra

Logistics conglomerate Allcargo Group has named Ravi Jakhar as its Director of Strategy and Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO), expanding his responsibilities beyond his previous role as Group Chief Strategy Officer.

In his new position, Jakhar will oversee the conglomerate’s strategic planning and financial management functions. He will coordinate with CFOs across Allcargo’s various businesses—including ECU Worldwide, Allcargo Terminals, AllcargoGati, and TransIndia Real Estate—while also managing group-wide functions such as Legal, Internal Audit, Investor Relations, and Mergers & Acquisitions.

Jakhar will continue to work closely with Shashi Kiran Shetty, the Group’s Founder and Chairman, on long-term strategy and institutional development. He will also maintain oversight of operations in Latin America and Oceania, in addition to key international joint ventures.

Since joining as Group Chief Strategy Officer in 2020, Jakhar has led several initiatives across mergers, fundraising, and investor engagement. In 2024, he took on the leadership of the Latin America business for ECU Worldwide, where the region has since emerged as one of the Group’s fastest-growing markets.

Jakhar holds a B.Tech from IIT BHU and has completed an executive program in entrepreneurship at Harvard Business School. He brings over 20 years of experience in strategy, finance, policy, and entrepreneurship.
