Yamaha India launches free 10-year warranty – Bike News
The new warranty package features a 2-year standard warranty along with an additional 8-year extended warranty, providing coverage for key components.
Yamaha Motor completed 40 years in India and marked this achievement, the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer has launched an industry-first 10-Year ‘Total Warranty’ programme for all made-in-India motorcycles and scooters. This initiative is part of Yamaha’s ongoing premium brand strategy and aims to enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring long-term reliability and peace of mind.
10-year Total Warranty
The new warranty package includes a 2-year standard warranty and an additional 8-year extended warranty, covering essential components such as the engine, electrical systems, and the Fuel Injection (Fi) unit.
Yamaha’s popular hybrid scooters like the Ray ZR Fi and Fascino 125 Fi, along with the Aerox 155 Version S, are now covered for up to 1 lakh km. The made-in-India motorcycles, including the FZ Series, R15, and MT-15, enjoy an extended coverage of up to 1.25 lakh km.
The 10-Year Total Warranty is available for a limited time, and the best part is that Yamaha is offering it for no extra cost for new customers. Yamaha has confirmed that even after the promotional period, the company will continue to offer extended coverage to customers at a nominal charge.
Transferable warranty
Yamaha Motor has upped the ante as the warranty is fully transferable to subsequent owners, enhancing the resale value of Yamaha vehicles and reinforcing the brand’s commitment to durability and customer trust. Yamaha’s initiative goes beyond a warranty, prioritising lasting customer relationships and a premium ownership experience.
Yamaha’s programme focuses on addressing Indian consumers’ expectations for product excellence, reduced ownership costs, and a worry-free riding experience through extended warranties and enhanced services for a worry-free riding experience.
2025 Yamaha Aerox

It is powered by a 155cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 14.75 bhp and 13.9 Nm. It is mated to a CVT automatic transmission.
