Nissan has officially opened bookings for the facelifted Magnite, ahead of its official India launch on October 4. However, the deliveries of the model will commence a day after the price announcement – October 5. Although the manufacturer has not yet revealed the token amount, prospective customers can place bookings for the Magnite facelift via the website or their nearest authorised dealership. The updated compact SUV comes with a refreshed design, improved technology, and enhanced safety features. Nissan Magnite Facelift: Exterior and Interior Updates

The upcoming Magnite will have updated headlights, a revamped grille, and a revised bumper without altering its overall appearance. Along with the newly designed 16-inch alloy wheels, the distinctive L-shaped DRLs will be retained. Furthermore, LED taillights, a new bumper, and a redesigned tailgate may feature at the rear end. A sharkfin antenna, a scuff plate, and an integrated spoiler are other expected exterior bits.

The facelifted SUV’s interior will have subtle changes throughout and leather upholstery in a new colour scheme, but the overall layout of the cabin will remain the same. It will also have a revamped digital instrument cluster and a bigger touchscreen infotainment system. A single-pane electric sunroof, automatic climate control, wireless charging, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, six airbags, connected car technology, and over-the-air upgrades are among the other anticipated features.

Nissan Magnite Facelift: Powertrain Options

As far as the mechanical setup is concerned, no changes are expected to be made in this area. Therefore, the Magnite facelift will continue to house two engine options from the previous-generation model: a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated (NA) engine with 71bhp and 96Nm and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine with 99bhp of maximum power and 160Nm of peak torque.

The turbo-petrol unit comes standard with a five-speed manual gearbox, but a CVT is available as an option, reducing torque to 152Nm; the naturally aspirated petrol engine, on the other hand, is coupled to a five-speed automatic transmission.
